The Foghe beach, formed by the mouth of the Rio Mannu, is located on the slopes of a basaltic plateau surmounted by the tower of the same name. This plateau formed by ancient lava flows overhangs the sea where it creates high cliffs.

In this area you can find numerous coves and islets very close to the coast. The most famous rocks are those of Corona Niedda which lie slightly further north.

This pristine environment is the natural habitat of many birds of prey and seabirds.
