Cabu Nieddu is formed by black basaltic rocks overlooking the sea. Its crags, born from very ancient volcanic eruptions, characterize this large stretch of coastline.
Here you can see the only waterfall in Sardinia, the waterfall of Cabu Nieddu that with a jump of about 40 meters dives into the blue and crystalline waters.
Do not miss the particular basalt formation “Selciato dei Giganti“, so called for the extraordinary regularity of the basaltic columns that compose it, carved by the erosion of water and wind until you get the appearance of a giant paved.
